Each necklace is lovingly handmade by myself using Sterling Silver findings, gorgeous semi-precious stones and high quality beading wire. The design has been tested by my heavy handed toddler who has not managed to break one yet! For safety reasons the necklaces do have a point of weakness where it will break under excessive force, however I will restring each necklace free of charge if it breaks during the first year of purchase.
While every attempt has been made to make each necklace as strong as possible, I cannot guarantee the strength of each individual bead. Please, do not let your baby/toddler chew on or suck the beads incase one breaks. Semi-precious stones are strong, but may not withstand your toddler swinging a necklace against walls or floors! For safety reasons, do not leave your child unsupervised with your necklace.
Since Beads for Mamas is a small business, I only keep one of each design. However, if you like a particular design (have a look in the gallery page for inspiration) I can often replicate or make a similar piece. Due to the individual nature of the gemstones, no two necklaces will look exactly the same. If you would like a different length necklace, or a customised one then please contact me to discuss this. Payment via paypal or cheques are accepted. Items will be posted on receipt of cleared payment.
It is essential that the necklaces are protected from perfume, deodorant, hairspray or other chemicals that could damage the gemstones or the findings. Beads for Mamas necklaces should not be immersed in water. Use a soft cloth to clean.
